Backfilling and Cleanup (8 of 9)
The trench will then be backfilled with the original excavated dirt. For the house connection, a hole will be drilled through the concrete sub-walls and the water line is then run through it. This water line is connected to the inside piping which feeds directly into the pressure tank. The pressure tank is your water storage unit which also gives the system the water pressure you need. Finally, the pump and wiring are put down the well where they will "seat" into the pitless adapter. The system is now ready to be "fired up" so the water can be run through the system and into the house. Just before leaving, the crew will give the well a good cleaning by chlorinating the system.
