| The next step is the installation
of the water system. This system includes the water line, pump, and tank.
Our water lines are installed by digging a 4’-6’ deep trench from the well
casing to the entry point in the house. The entry-point is predetermined
by pressure tank location which usually resides within the utility room of
a house. The water line pipe and electrical wire for the pump are laid and
connected to the well by a special fitting known as a pitless adapter.
About 5’ of plastic casing is removed from the top and replaced by a
welded on steel riser pipe. This gives the well part that protrudes from
the ground more stability. We also seal the top of the well with a
vermin-proof well cap. This keeps everything from insects to rodents from
entering into your well.
