Setup and Initial Drilling (4 of 9)
After homeowner or contractor gives us the okay to move on the job, our drilling team moves onto the site and sets up the equipment. Set up takes time as proper placement is found, drill rods and bits are readied and drilling mud and rotary rig are prepared and set for drilling. Once this is completed, the head driller will operate the machine and begin drilling. The "helper" assists the driller with rods and supplies as well as examines the emerging ground formations.
